What the online appointment system does, and what it does not do.
Why appointments
The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board regulates public land transport services. Booking a time in advance means you are seen at a known hour instead of queueing on the chance that a slot is free, and it lets each office plan the day's workload against the staff actually on duty.
What this system does
- Reserves a date and time at a specific LTFRB office.
- Tells you what to bring before you travel.
- Issues a reference number and a QR code for the counter.
- Sends reminders before your appointment.
- Lets you cancel within the published deadline.
What it does not do
An appointment is a place in the queue, not a decision on your application. It is not an approval, and it does not pre-assess your papers. Staff examine your original documents at the window, and the outcome of your transaction is decided there.
No documents are uploaded or stored by this system.
Accessibility
This service is built to work with a keyboard alone and with screen readers, and status is never signalled by colour by itself. If something here prevents you from booking, please contact your nearest office and staff will book on your behalf.
